Here's what you do:
Send an invitation and recipe card to each person you want to invite. Whether they attend or not, the mom-to-be will have a new collection of yummy recipes.
On the invitations:
• Name of the mom-to-be
• Date, time & place
• Where the mom-to-be is registered
• Where and who to RSVP
• Address to send the recipe card if not able to attend
There is a small paragraph at the bottom that asks your guest to fill out the enclosed recipe card with their favorite recipe for the new mom and bring it to the shower. If they are unable to attend, they can send the recipe card to the address on the invitation.
On the recipe cards:
• Personalized name/phrase at the top
• There is a line for the guest to sign so that the new mom will always know who gave it to her.
